| Summary: | WebRTC technology enables audio, video communication and file sharing services over web browsers without installing add-ons, which improves the convenience of such applications greatly. Its openness and open source policy will simplify and facilitate the development of applications. WebRTC technology was introduced, and then the trend and influence on operator's communication services were analyzed. A comparison and three ways of combination with IMS were depicted as well. At the end, a summary of research topics and overview of future development were given. |
