Description
Summary:In order to understand the mechanism of the detoxication of the fluoride poisoned silkworm by CRL, a naphthylamine compound, the effect of CRL on superoxide ion (<inline-graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="graphic/1008-9209-2001-05-0565-I006.jpg"/>) level in the hemolymph of the fluoride poisoned silkworm was studied. After feeding with NaF solution, the superoxide ion level increased obviously. It was indicated that the silkworm poisoning was related to superoxide ion level. After the treatment with CRL, the superoxide ion level in the hemolymph of the fluoride poisoned silkworm decreased. After the treatment with CRL and the synergist, the superoxide ion level decreased tremendously, and it was even close to the level of the control. Therefore the detoxication effect of CRL would be enhanced with the association of the synergist.
