Secondly, we examine on the intertextual field the impact of the microfictional series onto the narrative syntagmatics and the diegetic unity of the short story, particularly changes undertaken by time within every microfiction (compressed into a “narrative without narrativity”) and within the overall set as well (no chrono-logics). Thirdly, we look into the operations of a specific intertextual link, called transfictionality, located in the diegetic contents where the connection between microfiction and short story is studied within the frame of the fictional and thematic unity of the microfictional series. |
