Description
Summary:The article presents the results of breeding hybrid ducklings of the Agidel 34 cross when the probiotic drugs Vitafort and Lactobifadol are included in the diet. It was found that periodic feeding with probiotics for seven days followed by a one-week break from the age of one day to the end of cultivation (42 days) provides an increase in livestock safety by 0.4...1.13%. Vitafort feeding led to an increase in the average live weight at the end of cultivation by 3.25% and by 5.58% when using Lactobifadol, which also affected the meat productivity of young ducks. The yield of gutted carcass in the experimental groups exceeded the control by 1.04...8.57%, the yield of muscles by 8.27...17.9%. The consumption of compound feed per 1 kg of body weight gain in the control group was 2.47 kg. The lowest cost per unit of growth, 2.37 kg, was observed in the group of ducklings treated with Lactobifadol. The use of probiotics allowed to increase the profitability level by 4.91...53.49%.
