NOISE ABATEMENT EFFICIENCY WITH VIBRODAMPING INSERTS INTO “WHEEL-RAIL” TRIBOSYSTEM OF HAULING STOCK
The experimental results of reducing the acoustic radiation intensity of the rail through the damping of its web are quoted. The dependence of the noise abatement efficiency on the vibrodamping material thickness is shown.
