Description
Summary:This study aims to evaluate the role of knowledge of entrepreneurship, digital capability, and prior experience in digital technology in Vietnam’s digital entrepreneurship intention. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the authors analyzed data from 1,243 postgraduate students using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that the two components of TPB positively impact the intention of digital entrepreneurship. In addition, Knowledge of Entrepreneurship and Digital Capability directly impact digital entrepreneurship intention. In contrast, prior experience in digital technology and Digital Entrepreneurial Knowledge do not affect the intention of digital entrepreneurship. The results also indicate the mediating role of TPB factors. Based on that, the authors propose policy implications to enhance the spirit of entrepreneurship in Vietnam.
