Description
Summary:This work intends to describe, from an educative sociopolitical perspective, the emergence of the normal schools in Colombia, the political and pedagogical intentions that organized the teacher formation in the country. We start from the legislative norms in the Republican period, having both as reference and starting point the first Constitucíón de la Republica Independiente de Colombia (Constitution of the Independent Republic of Colombia), granted in 1821, followed by the legislative board that ordered the public instruction politics. Thus it is demonstrated the game of interest in education among Colombian political groups. On the one hand the Church trying to keep its religious formation and on the other hand the Republican State with lay formative ideals to offer a popular and public education with freedom of beliefs.
