However, some of their retirees are anchored in the rural municipalities of periurban areas : despite the dominant suburban model based on single family home and car mobility, what place is there for the elderly ? The article discusses the effects of constraint, but also free choice with regard to a certain number of amenities and the responses of public policies to understand how individual and collective trade-offs are made around the question of housing, daily mobilities and services at an age when living patterns are changing. |
