description Abstract We present a novel baryogenesis mechanism in a three-Higgs doublet model. The lightest doublet plays the role of the standard Higgs, and there are two heavier Higgs bosons. We assume that the two heavy Higgs are responsible for inflation, and during the reheating phase after inflation the heavy Higgs produce an asymmetry in the light Higgs due to CP-violating quartic couplings. The asymmetry in the light Higgs then converts to a baryon (and lepton) asymmetry through electroweak instantons.
