Description
Summary:For the last ten years, geoinformation technologies and modern geodetic methods have been actively used in archaeological research. They enable the documentation of archaeological sites, the creation of digital elevation models and 3D models, as well as the reconstruction of individual elements and structures for the purpose of restoring and preserving cultural heritage objects. The paper describes the main stages of archaeological research at the Lyashevo settlement and the processing of spatial data obtained during fieldwork, followed by 3D visualization of the archaeological heritage site area and the reconstruction of a defensive structure, using the Lyashevo settlement as an example. The Lyashevo settlement, a cultural heritage site, is located in the Tetyushi district of Tatarstan, on the left bank of the Ulema River. Based on archival studies and archaeological materials obtained during field surveys, the settlement dates back to the second half of the XIII–XV centuries and belongs to the Golden Horde period.
