description Pathologies of the long head of the biceps often result in disabling shoulder symptoms, ranging from pain to significant functional impairment. The management of pathologies of the long head of the biceps through biceps tenodesis has evolved to include various approaches, encompassing different tenodesis locations and a range of fixation methods. This technical note introduces an arthroscopic technique for proximal biceps tenodesis at the bicipital groove. This approach incorporates a unique construct of circumferential and trans-tendon suture passing. Potential advantages of this technique include enhanced fixation strength and resistance. Compared with open subpectoral tenodesis, it has the potential for fewer complications. Additionally, the technique is both reproducible and particularly suitable for surgeons with less experience, thereby broadening its applicability in clinical settings.
