| Summary: | The structural and karst forms of the Sierra del Aramo are analysed, especially the lithological and tectonic factors that determine the morphostructural organisation of the relief. The methodology used has been based on an exhaustive bibliographic and cartographic review, field work, photointerpretation, and geomorphological maps. As a result, the main fault and overthrust scarps are identified and explained, as well as many types of lapies, dolines, nivo-karst niches, and dry valleys. Such forms constitute a valuable geomorphological heritage, which must be appropriately assessed for sustainable use. |
