Summary:Main circuit structure and basic working principle of traction converter was introduced. Energy flowing relationship of traction system and auxiliary system when traction system generated power for auxiliary loads in dragged mode was analyzed. The control logic of power-generation device and dc-link voltage control strategy of traction converter in dragged mode was proposed. Fault diagnostic of power-generation device and the system protect strategy were discussed. Finally, the experimental results proved that the proposed method was correct.
