Description
Summary:In order to study the effect of wheel flat on the wheel-rail contact creep characteristics of high-speed trains, based on the multibody dynamics theory and rolling contact simplification theory, a rigid- flexible coupling dynamic model considering the flexibility of the wheelset was established. The influence of wheel flat parameters on the characteristics of high-speed train wheel-rail force and creep force was analyzed, and the safety limit of wheel flat length was obtained by combining the wheel load reduction rate and the wheel-rail vertical force index. The results showed that: by considering the  flexibility of the wheelset, the contact state of the wheel and rail can be better reflected; during the rolling contact of the wheel and rail, the overlong  flat of the wheel would cause the wheelset to jump and lead to derail when it was serious, so the wheelset should be timely repaired according to the limit value of flat length. Combined with wheel load reduction rate and wheel rail vertical force, the safety limit of wheel flat length was 27 mm, which could more effectively guarantee the safe operation of high-speed trains.
