description The whole train was regarded as a multi-particle system, the force analysis of each car body was carried out, the motion equation of the whole train was deduced, and a multi-particle dynamic model was established. Based on the multi-particle model, the train operation simulation under various conditions such as traction, braking, coasting, uphill slope and so on was carried out, and the distribution of coupler force was recorded, and the simulation results of different train formation and different braking methods were compared. The results could provide decision support for train formation and train control.
