description Sore throat is a common complaint, with which addresst not only to general pediatricians, but also to more narrow specialists. This complaint is predominant in acute infections of the oropharynx, such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis. Therefore the problem of treatment of such conditions is of a high importance. Imudon, the drug which considerably differs from all the other medicines used in topic therapy of pharyngitis, has been widely used and confirmed its efficacy in recent years. This drug is a polyvalent antigenic complex, containing lisates. The article represents the results of the studies, which aims were to assess efficacy and safety of this drug usage in children with chronic tonsillitis, pharyngitis, oral mucous membranes and periodontium diseases and in frequently ill children.
