Description
Summary:This thesis aims to determine parents' and teachers' perceptions of the importance of English for early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observations. The results showed that parents and teachers in ABA Karangmalang Yogyakarta have a positive perception of the importance of English for early childhood. They believe that introducing English early can improve children's cognitive development, communication skills, and prepare them for future global competition. However, there are still challenges in implementing English learning for early childhood, such as limited qualified teachers and appropriate learning methods. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed to improve the quality of English learning for early childhood.
