| Summary: | Within the past two decades, the body of literature in English regarding student geographies has considerably expanded. This has highlighted contemporary topics, particularly tied to mobility issues, the unfolding of new youth cultures, and studentification processes (i.e. urban transformations produced by a strong influx of students in residential neighbourhoods). Albeit this literature mostly focuses on the British context, this paper suggests that this research field has gradually propagated globally. However, scientific publications in French studying student geographies are scarce. It is, then, useful to suggest initial avenues of research regarding the development of a body of literature on student geographies in French. |
