description Endometrial cancer, also known as uterine corpus cancer, is one of the malignant tumors in the female reproductive system. In recent years, its global incidence has been gradually increasing and showing a trend of younger onset, posing a potential major threat to the lives and health of women. Genes play a leading role in regulating the cell cycle. P27kip1 is a cyclin, and the expression of this protein has a dual role in both preventing and promoting cancer. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) represents the traditional medical practice of China, and Chinese herbal medicine holds the advantage of having multiple target actions. This paper mainly focuses on the effect of toosendanin, an extract from the Chinese herbal medicine Melia toosendan, on tumors. In endometrial cancer cells, the expression of p27kip1 has a certain inhibitory effect on cancer cells. Therefore, increasing the expression level of p27kip1 in the body can improve the cure rate and prognosis of endometrial cancer to a certain extent. This paper explores how Melia toosendan can regulate the expression of P27kip1 and thus has a regulatory effect on endometrial cancer, further investigating its impact and research significance.
