| Summary: | The article lists brief survey on the history of the art-therapy development. The main features of application of this method of the group psychotherapy with psychotic and other hard mental patients are described. The experience of application of the group art-therapy in the general sections of the mental hospital is summarized. The uniqueness of the described studies depends on concerted actions of psychologist and artist, discussions on their results with the psychiatrists in charge of the cases, taking into account while selecting complex treatment. The method is not only extending the abilities of complex biopsychosociotherapy of the mental diseases in hospital conditions, but also promotes the better adaptation of the mental patients in family and society after discharge. |
