Summary:A review of horseflies is found in central Ciscaucasia and adjacent mountain areas. Total found is over 60 species of 9 genera. It was found that most of the species develops in a moist environment, but low availability for most fish. It is suggested that one of the evolutionary adaptations that provides significant biological diversity and high numbers of this group of insects. It is regarded to search for ways to destroy the benign nature of these dangerous insects.
