Description
Summary:By studying the impact of different holding times on the microstructure and properties of AZ80-Ce magnesium alloy ''I-beam'' shaped components produced through a combined process of extrusion and isothermal closed die forging, this research aims to reveal the microstructural evolution mechanism of AZ80-Ce magnesium alloy during the holding process and the influence mechanism of pre-forging holding time on the forging process. Additionally, by simulating the changes in the temperature field during the holding process using finite element software with appropriately set boundary conditions, a mathematical model for the ''pre-forging holding time'' is established.
