Summary:The paper presents the role of an effective communication process in a small public institution that is part of the local public administration in preventing and/or managing possible labor conflicts that may arise between employees and their senior hierarchical bosses. With the help of a questionnaire implemented within the public institution, the main aspects related to the efficiency of institutional communication are highlighted, starting from the fact that many authors have previously identified the need for an adequate communication climate to prevent conflicts in the relationship between employees, as well as relating employees to their superiors.
