Description
Summary:The goal of the present paper is to illustrate the large number of diagnostic activities carried out in the last years in regard to the collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Florence. The authors present a survey of the main research projects currently ongoing in collaboration with Italian and international research institutes, which involve non-invasive analytic methods. In particular, recent studies have focused especially on polychrome artifacts, as well as on neutron activation analyses of bronze artifacts.
