description The possibility of formation of paracetamol of orthorhombic modification by the method of calorimetry is studied. The studies include technological experiments, optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. It is found that in the result of temperature cycling the crystals of paracetamol are modified in the crystals of orthorhombic syngony. Microphotographs, X-ray diffraction patterns, differential scanning spectroscopy curves and absorption spectra are presented.
