Description
Summary:It was demonstrated that two kinds of frequency distribution on gamete and genotype were equivalent to Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium distribution with respect to limited loci in a diploid population when the gamete entropy and genotype entropy reached respective maximal possible value. Accordingly, the equivalent of two kinds of equilibrium distribution between gamete and genotype was briefly proved with respect to limited loci of a random-mating population whether linkage or nonlinkage. Difference from the traditional standpoint of population genetics, the population could not reach the equilibrium state but an non-equilibrium steady state that both the gamete entropy and the genotype entropy of the population reached the minimal possible values far from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium when it was subjected to a forcible non-random mating.
