| description | The article deals with etiologic factors which caused diffusive alopecia, such as: nutritional deficiency, dysfunction of the endocrine system, exogenous and endogenous intoxications, infectious diseases, diffusive diseases of the connective tissue, stress. It is noted that application of vaccines usually does not bring about visible hair loss. A medical case of vaccine-induced diffusive telogen effluvium is demonstrated in a young woman which occurred after a planned tetanus vaccination. The main role in establishing diagnosis of analysis of clinical data, laboratory and pathohistological study is shown. Thus, vaccination can be one of triggers of emergence of nonscarring diffuse alopecia of the hairy part of the head. |
