Description
Summary:Quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted on the relationship between aerobic biodegradability and chemical structure of phthalic acid ester compounds by applying the quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR). The quantitative relationship equation between aerobic biodegradation rate constants and three multi-level molecule connectivity indices and structure parameters was also established. The result showed that the steric factors of substituents were important parameters affecting the aerobic biodegradability of the tested compounds.
