تحتل التمور مكانة إقتصادية هامة على المستوى العراقي وفي محافظة البصرة بصفة خاصة، إذ يسهم في زيادة المنافع الإقتصادية ومن ثم دوره في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي الوطني لذا يجب أن يوجد تزايد حالي ومتوقع في إنتاج التمور بمحافظة البصرة مما يستوجب إيجاد قنوات جديدة لادخال التمور في تصنيع منتجات غذائية متنوعة فضلاً عن الصناعات التكاملية الأخرى وهذا يساعد على تقليص الاستيراد السنوي للتمور والحصول على قيمة مضافة أكبر ومن ثم رفع مردودها الاقتصادي .من هذا المنطلق تبرز الأهمية الاقتصادية للتمور والبحث في مجال تطوير صناعة التمور ومنتجاتها في محافظة البصرة للتوصل لأفضل الظروف للاستفادة منها في صورة منتجات غذائية مصنعة. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الاهمية الاقتصادية لتمور في محافظة البصرة ومدى إمكانية مساهمتها في تطوير الصناعات القائمة عليها طبقاً لمتطلبات وطموحات التنمية الصناعية والاقتصادية بمحافظة البصرة مما يؤدي إلى تفعيل التنمية الاقتصادية .كما سيتم التطرق إلى الخطط المستقبلية في مجال تصنيع التمور ومنتجاتها والتي من شانها الاسهام في تطوير هذا القطاع الهام وزيادة حجم الفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة لقيام صناعات تكاملية تعتمد على التمور كونها خامة ومن ثم توجهيها نحو التجارة.
Abstract
Dates occupies an important position on the economic level and in the province of Basra, as it contributes to increased economic benefits and then its role in achieving national food security.?So Should be no increase in current and expected in the production of dates in Basra province, which requires new channels to find to insert dates in the manufacture of a variety of food products as well as other complementary industries and this helps to reduce the annual import of dates and get added value greater and then raise their economic return. From this perspective highlights The economic importance of dates and research in the field of development of dates and products industry in the province of Basra to reach the best conditions to take advantage of them in the form of processed food products. This study aims to shed light on the economic importance of the dates in the province of Basra and the possibility of their contribution to the development of existing industries them according to the requirements and aspirations of industrial and economic development in Basra province, leading to the activation of economic development. As will be discussed at future plans in the field of dates and products manufacturing, which would Contribute to the development of this important sector and increase the size of the investment opportunities available to the complementary industries dependent on the severity of dates and then being routed towards trade.
