| description | The objective is to validate the practical humidifying performance of a solid desiccant coated heat exchanger (DCHE) cooling system in winter. The experimental setup is designed and built to test the humidifyingsystem performance. In this system, the heating water required in regeneration process is coming from the solar collector system. The saturated desiccant is regenerated by the heating water, at the same time the regeneration air is humidified and heated. Under the condition of the temperature of the heating water is 42.0 ℃, the temperature of the air increases from 12.1 ℃ to 31.2 ℃. The average moisture addition D_ave is 3.4 g/kg. The thermal coefficient of performance COP_th is about 2.0. |
