In the study, “Introductory Information Form” and ‘‘the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture’’ were used for data collection. In the analysis of the data, t test, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test, and Tamhane's Post Hoc test were used.Results: Mean overall scores of patients from Patient Safety Culture Survey were found to be (3.12±0.30). The highest mean score was found in “Teamwork in Units” sub-dimension (3.96±0.18), while the lowest mean score was found in “Hospital Interventions and Change” sub-dimension (2.20±0.32). Conclusions: It was found that nurses had moderate level of patient safety culture perceptions. With training programs on patient safety, nurses’ awareness can be increased and the perception of patient safety culture can be increased to high levels. |
