There are various transplantation procedures exist. Although pancreas is transplanted because of its endocrine function, one of the main issues, which prevent the successful development of pancreas transplantation, is an exocrine drainage. The aim of this paper was to summarize our first experience of retroperitoneal pancreas transplantation with the formation of duodeno-duodenal anastomosis for enteric drainage. |
