It may involve inflammatory responses，oxidative stress，genetic mechanisms，pyroptosis，mitochondrial autophagy，ferroptosis，abnormal coagulation，etc. This article reviews the research on the pathogenesis of acute lung injury in sepsis，with the aim of improving the systematic clinical understanding of this disease.
