Description
Summary:Hoffa fracture with posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) avulsion fracture is extremely rare. We report a case of a medial Hoffa fracture associated with a tibial PCL avulsion fracture treated surgically through the posterior open approach in a single incision. The Hoffa fracture was fixed with two headless cannulated screws and one anti-glide plate, while the PCL avulsion fracture was fixed with two compression screws. The operation was completed smoothly with an acceptable surgical wound, and the postoperative result was satisfactory.
