Summary:The tower is the main bearing component of wind turbine,and its performance directly affects the service life and safety of wind turbine. The 2 MW wind turbine tower structure optimization was researched,with the tower quality was taken as the optimization objective,the natural frequency,stress and height was taken as the constraint conditions,and the diameter,wall thickness,pitch length was taken as control variables. The tower structure was optimized by simulation and checked by analytical solution. The results show that the optimized tower has reduced weight 4. 21% and increased natural frequency,the maximum stress position obtained by simulation is the same but 22. 3% larger than the analytical,the analytical first order natural frequency is 18% larger than the simulation. This optimization method has certain practicability and engineering application value,and is suitable for popularization and application.
