Summary:This study aims to determine how students and the public respond to news about military education by taking locations at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. The research used in this study is a qualitative approach 50 Student. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive type, where researchers describe or construct in-depth interviews with research subjects. Researchers act as activists who give critical meaning to the reality produced by research subjects. Qualitative research procedures in the data collection process direct interviews with researchers with informants also required data regarding informants who would assist in the smooth running of the research; the research determination technique was purposive sampling in which the researcher determined the selection by setting specific criteria according to the research objectives so that it expected to be able to answer research problems.
