description The change in the thermal regime of the Kuibyshev reservoir affects the functioning of the aquatic ecosystem and the formation of water quality, and its assessment in the context of global climate change is extremely important, since the reservoir is used for fisheries, drinking water supply and recreation. The article presents quantitative estimation of the Kuibyshev Reservoir surface water temperature and shifts in the dates of transition of water temperature during warming in spring and cooling in autumn in the context of global warming.
