| Summary: | Proper usage of punctuation marks is fundamental for good writing. Teachers are a key factor in the learning process of students’ command of punctuation marks as they are the major source of information for learners. This article offers various studies which show the teachers’ command of the usage of punctuation marks and the most important difficulties they encounter in their teaching experience. Similary, we review also some research that are far from the normative point of view and focus on psycholinguistic aspects in which it is to see how children learn to score and how adults can get better use of signs.<br><p>El conocimiento del sistema de la puntuación es fundamental para dominar la expresión escrita. Los profesores son un elemento clave en la enseñanza de los signos, puesto que ellos actúan como orientadores y proporcionan la mayor parte de la información que reciben los alumnos. En este artículo se abordan diversos estudios que muestran cuál es el conocimiento que los docentes tienen de la puntuación y las dificultades más importantes con las que se encuentran en su práctica docente. Del mismo modo, también reseñamos algunas investigaciones sobre puntuación alejadas del punto de vista normativo y centradas en aspectos psicolingüísticos, en donde se trata de ver cómo aprenden los niños a puntuar y de qué manera los adultos pueden llegar a utilizar mejor los signos.</p> |
