description Bamboo cultivation is necessary to increase the population of bamboo clumps. The bamboo clumps tend to decrease due to the shift of used lands for residential or replaced by other crop comodities, which are considered more profitable. On the other hand, the need of bamboo for raw materials remain increase in line with population growth and the development of science. The important of the bamboo cultivation are to maintain the availability of its supply and to improve the quality of bamboo, which meet the market demands. This paper examined financial analysis of bamboo cultivation. Financial study was necessary to show whether the effort to cultivate bamboo is financially feasible or not. The data used were colecting from the research on bamboo plantation of PT XYZ company in Lampung. The results showed that the NPV (IDR 36,644,364.08) was greater than zero, the Net B/C ê-2.56 êwas greater than one, the IRR (11 %) was greater than the rate of 6%, and the payback period on the ninth year was less than the project life 15 years. Based on the criteria of financial study, it can be concluded that the cultivation of bamboo is financially feasible to be developed.
