Summary: | A layer 3 forwarding technology LDN (large-scale deterministic network) which was scalable for wide area deployment was proposed.LDN not only keeps the advantage of traditional IP’s statistic multiplexing,but also be able to guarantee end-to-end bounded latency and bounded jitter required by 5G uRLLC (ultra-reliable low-latency communication) slice,industrial network,and other future scenarios.A simulation experiment was taken between traditional IP and deterministic IP (LDN enabled) on end-to-end worst case latency and delay variance (i.e.,jitter),the comparison results successfully proved the effective and efficient of LDN technology. |
