Description
Summary:The article is dedicated to analyzing the phenomenon of the "regional cultural and educational project." The author considers the regional cultural and educational project as a systematic whole, combining various activities aimed at developing regional cultural identity and facilitating the self-actualization and creative self-expression of its participants. The author argues that cultural and educational projects will yield greater benefits if they are based on an understanding of regional culture, recognizing its developmental patterns, and using this foundation to determine the vectors of implementation. The socio-cultural significance of such a project lies in the development of a positive cultural identity among children and youth. The article systematizes subprojects implemented in the Sverdlovsk region as part of the regional patriotic cultural and educational project "We are Urals" (informational and educational, educational, publishing) and identifies promising vectors for its further implementation. The regional cultural and educational project "We are Urals" is classified by the author as a patriotic project, as it is based on the exploration of the geo-cultural space through familiarization with and involvement in the region's history, and attention to its current existence as a condition for forming a value-based attitude towards one's place of living. The project is systematic: it covers all levels of education (from preschool to professional education, including additional education and leisure practices); ensures the unity of classroom, extracurricular, and out-of-school activities; and involves the fields of culture, science, and industry in the educational space. The work is based on an interdisciplinary methodology that allows for identifying the interconnection between various elements of the socio-cultural context using an axiological approach. Relying on personal experience in scientific project management, the author employs the case study method to present the project comprehensively and systematically. The author proposes to view the regional cultural and educational patriotic project "We are Urals" as a model project, whose ideas resonate not only with the tasks outlined in state documents for education and society but also with the goals of the regional community. The article outlines the prospects for its further implementation. To enhance the effectiveness of this activity, consolidated efforts of various actors in the regional cultural field are necessary, rather than disparate efforts. It is suggested that new collaborations are on the horizon.
