Summary:Abstract The behaviors of religious leaders play a crucial role in advancing peace education because they have a significant influence on both students’ and instructors’ views and actions with relation to peace education. The decisions that institutional leaders make on policies and how instructors conduct themselves reflect their views, preferences, moral principles, and level of competence. This paper is quantitative and survey-based. Teachers at Bahawalpur and Lahore’s religious education institutions make up the study’s population. A total of 292 teachers took part in the study, and information was gathered from those who taught final-year students. Data was gathered using a tool that was independently designed. The tool was built on literature’s discussion of the elements of peace education and the methods employed to advance them. After the instrument underwent a pilot test, its validity and reliability were determined to be 0.87. Statistics that are mutually descriptive and illative were applied to explore the data. The findings showed that educators were happy with the methods used by religious institutions to further the cause of peace education. This study might aid academics, professionals, and politicians in their efforts to advance peace education in all Pakistani schools.
