The Isotherms of Ethane on Ni-Surfaces
The isotherms of ethane were determined at 20 °C, 65 °C and 105 °C in a flow system with He or H2 as carrier gas. The latter reduces the plateau value of the Langmuir isotherm by a factor of 0.7, but increases the heat of adsorbtion of ethane from 19 to 27 kJ/mol.
