Summary:Food produced through organic systems is becoming increasingly popular among consumers and farmers worldwide. Growing demand is the primary driver of the organic food market’s development, contributing to the introduction of new products. This article aims to analyze changes in the import of organic products to the European Union (EU) between 2018 and 2023. The study employs data analysis, legal regulation review, and literature examination. It focuses on key trends, regulations, and external factors affecting the organic products market. The analysis includes import directions and identifies the largest suppliers of organic products. The findings reveal an increase in organic product imports, supplier diversification, and shifts in import structure. Importing organic products into the EU ensures the diversity and availability of food meeting the highest quality standards, preferred by many consumers. This is crucial in the context of exploring methods to achieve sustainable development. The article provides insights for policymakers and market participants, highlighting challenges and opportunities for growth within the framework of sustainable agriculture.
