| Summary: | Besides routine performance tests for thyristors, ultra high voltage DC (UHVDC) transmission thyristors must pass several special item tests repeatedly, such as maximum dv/dt of threshold voltage and their relationship tests on breakover voltage. This paper introduces a test platform for performance test on dv/dt of threshold voltage for +660 kV UHVDC transmission thyristors. The test system, which is automatically controlled by computer and realizes data sampling, wave display and recording via control software wrote by Labview, is safe and reliable. |
