Summary:This article examines the environmental and methodological aspects of green thinking as an important strategy for sustainable education. The authors analyze the role of sustainable education in the formation of environmental, social and economic awareness, and also consider its impact on the formation of a sustainable society. They examine the basic principles of green thinking and its impact on the environment, and also offer methods and tools for its implementation in the educational process. The article discusses practical methods for implementing green thinking and its role in promoting environmental sustainability in society. In addition, interdisciplinary connections within the framework of sustainable development are considered, which allows us to create a holistic understanding of how scientific research can be applied to solve environmental problems. Project-based on learning, which combines these disciplines, helps to educate a generation that is ready to consciously approach the choice of products, methods of their production and consumption, and also actively seek and implement sustainable solutions to preserve the environment.
