Description
Summary:The Worker’s Party (WP) is no longer the same «political animal» today than in the 80’s. Indeed, it has known a process of institutionalization and of centralization of the decision, which originated an autonomization of the organization with regard to its social environment. Nevertheless, this process has brought internal conflicts leading to the elaboration of strategies of redefinition of the party’s identity. The women Setorial illustrates that, in a party, parallels process of institutionalization and «movementization» can coincide. However, with the coming to power of the WP, the party’s identity knows a homogenization. It seems, through the WP’s case, that the institutional integration has a durable influence on the internal party’s organization.
