description | A group of long pinion-to-short pinion planetary gears are added into the traditional Ravigneaux planetary gearset and one planetary gear meshes with two others. This new type Ravigneaux planetary gearset can improve the capability of the automatic transmission in the aspect of power and torque. The essential constrain conditions are established by analyzing the structure of the Ravigneaux transmission. The assembly condition minimum error can be calculated by the essential constrain conditions and the condition that make a planetary gear meshes with two others properly. That is the objective function of the design and 17 groups feasible programs are yielded finally. |
