Summary:The problem of current paper is the effect of socioeconomic affluence/deprivation in electoral participation in presidential elections from 1989 to 2013. The question is: are the affluent counties-in comparison with others-have a high electoral participation? This hypothesis is inferenced from theoretic approaches: socioeconomic affluence is necessity conditions for electoral participation. The methodological approach of this research is inter-county comparative analysis. For this purpose, 24 years age secondary dada is analyzed. To examine of the hypothesis fuzzy set method and software of spss and fs/qca are applied. The results are show that socioeconomic affluence is necessity condition for electoral participation. However we found that socioeconomic deprivation is a sufficient condition for nonparticipation.
