Summary:The article analyses the co-constitutions logics between tourism and intangible heritage by looking at the effects of encounters resulting from UNESCO’s immaterial world heritage inscriptions, The development of tourism and local proposals is constantly evolving. It shows how the complex interactions between these three elements are sources of transfers, resistance, transformations, but also innovations that lead to proposals for social harmony or more or less radical oppositions. It is based on selected examples from Mali.
